How do I know if my order has been placed successfully?

Once you’ve placed and paid for your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your unique order number.

How will my order be shipped?

All Afari orders are sent via Primetime Express, a door-to-door courier service. Please ensure that there is someone to receive your order at your preferred physical address between Monday and Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

If you are not at home when your order arrives, the courier service will contact you regarding when you will be able to receive your parcel. 


How long will my order take to ship?

Your order will take 2-5 working days from date of payment to arrive.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Please note postal deliveries will only be accommodated by special request. Please email hello@afari.co.za before placing your order to ensure we can accommodate your delivery.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping on orders under R750 is R50.
Standard shipping on orders R750 or more is FREE.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we only ship to physical addresses within South Africa.
If you’d like us to ship elsewhere, please email hello@afari.co.za with your request.

How do I check the status of my order?

To check the status of your order, simply log into your afari.co.za account and select “Order History” in the “My Account” page. If you still have questions about your order, please send an email to hello@afari.co.za with your order number and preferably the order confirmation email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Orders submitted on afari.co.za process and ship very quickly. We will do our best to modify an existing order if you email us at hello@afari.co.za but we cannot guarantee that your order will be cancelled or modified. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

What if my package arrives damaged?

If your package was damaged during shipment, save the box and merchandise and notify us immediately at hello@afari.co.za. We will arrange for Aramex to pick up and inspect the damaged package and the damaged items will be replaced.
